Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Overview: Champion Window - Production Manager (Manufacturing) Looking for a driven, experienced production manager to help build our corporate location and achieve our goals of becoming the number one home improvement company in the nation. Excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Successfully meet the need of our customers internally and externally through managing production throughput. Pay Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year Responsibilities: Drive to advance manufacturing plant to become the center of excellence. Meet the need of our customers internally and externally through managing production throughput. Ability to manage manufacturing supervisors and the staffing of their departments. Ability to identify root cause with documented corrective action. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to create, implement, and sustain new manufacturing processes and procedures. Able to use active listening skills or attend to non-verbal cues to better understand others perspectives, behaviors, or motivation; able to empathize with others needs and respond sensitively; able to use good judgment when responding to objections successfully. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems within the manufacturing plant. Strong leadership ability and proven success in managing manufacturing supervisors. Experience with Lean and Six Sigma. Coordinating with maintenance to minimize down time of manufacturing equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to generate and explore different, creative, imaginative, or unique approaches to problem-solving; able to challenge conventional practices, adapt old methods for new uses, or seek continuous improve-ment in procedures. Ability to create, implement, and sustain new manufacturing processes and procedures. Able to remain calm and professional through stressful or ambiguous circumstances; able to interpret in-formation, solve problems, and meet tight deadlines in difficult circumstances; able to help others manage stress objectively and calmly. Able to show team spirit and treat team members with cooperation and respect; able to share useful infor-mation with team members; able to support and comply with decisions. Motivating team members. Drive to advance manufacturing to become a center of excellence. Qualifications: 3 plus years experience in manufacturing/warehousing environment. Basic computer skills required.
