Overview: Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients. We are seeking a Cost Analyst Task Lead that will provide support to the Chief Information Office (CIO) with advisory support in planning, financial management, documentation and customer engagement. Position will be located either in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Expertise in Federal Government Acquisition and in Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE). Assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of spend plans, including all necessary budget, financial status, charts, briefings, schedules, progress reports, and related documentation. Gathering, maintaining, reviewing, and analyzing of program and budget data. Provide support in preparation for and conducting program and budget reviews as well as preparation materials for leadership to attend meetings. Knowledge of commonly used contracting methods and contract types. Support each formal budget review cycle including tracking of budget, financial activities, and status of each project budget across fiscal years, authorizations, appropriations, and expenditures. Perform budget and cost analyses to relate planned budgets and potential changes to fiscal year budgets. Assist in projecting future budgets and responding to budget drills in order to attain project milestones. Perform market research and surveys, while providing cost analysis to ensure acquisitions do not exceed budgeted amounts on behalf of the government. Provide support to functional leads for the development of work statements, requirement documents, program schedules, and standard operating procedures. Provide analysis, monitoring, cost control, and procurement support of individual and aligned programs. Perform Task Order Lead duties to include but not limited to, management of day-to-day operations and personnel, reporting to Program Directors, interfacing with government client, managing performance and promoting business development opportunities. Other duties as required Qualifications: Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines or equivalent training and/or experience. 15 Years experience in Management. Familiar with procurement and creation of Bills of Materials. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Experienced with MS Office including Excel Highly organized, attention to detail. Ability to employ problem solving techniques to unique situations. Ability to use information technology to solve business problems. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Prior experience in a management consulting or business advisory position. Strong data analysis, program evaluation and critical thinking skills. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Level of Organizational Responsibility: Primary duty consists of managing the work directly related to the management or general business operations of the organization. Supervisory Responsibility: Customarily and regularly directs the work of full-time team members in support of client's projects and tasks. Supervisor: Program Director Proceeds independently following general plans, policies and purposes of the practice. Results of work are considered technically authoritative and accepted without significant change. Assignments reviewed for the alignment of project/program objectives. Level of Supervision Required: The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most conflicts, coordinates work with others and interprets policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required inside the Washington National Capital Region (NCR). Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment. Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
