Job Description We are looking for a capable Data Scientist to join our growing Data and Analytics team. As the team responsible for creating, delivering, and advancing the consumption of data within the larger org, setting the scientific standards and promoting their practices will be an important part of this role. The ideal candidate has experience in leveraging AWS data and machine learning solutions to automate and scale their solutions. Is someone who enjoys helping people find data driven solutions to their questions, and provide robust research into defining best defining complex business problems. Can work closely with our software developers, data analysts, and data engineers, to leverage their support in realizing complete end to end implementations. Will work closely with our Product Manager to help solution for the needs of our data consumers. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple client teams, systems and products. Is passionate about finding the best ways to do things, comfortable working towards those solutions with the team, and committing to a plan, even if concessions need to be made. • Work with clients to review their Analytics Roadmaps and understand the higher-level needs of business that require true research for answers. • Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve identified problems/questions. • Work with the internal team of Product Managers, Developers, and Data Engineers in designing better ways to track down issues, build use cases, and optimize solutions. • Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve various production models (Propensity to Call, ML Content Personalization, Data Anomaly Detection, etc.) • Master's Degree in Statistics, Applied Math or related field • 5+ years' practical experience in data mining and statistical analysis • Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills • Experience with data tools: Redshift, Snowflake, ODBC Connections, etc. • Experience with AWS cloud services: S3, AWS Sage Maker , AWS Personalize, Redshift, etc. • Experience with Jupiter Notebook • Experience with relevant scripting languages: Python, SQL, R, etc. • Experience in Propensity Modeling and Personalization Modeling • Able to identify the proper statistical methods, and models to solve various business needs. • Experience with JSON file formatting and querying. • Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
