Your Future Team As a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst at Hightower Advisors, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our accounts payable functions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative finance team. What You'll Do Review and process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely payments Maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies, and negotiate favorable payment terms when possible Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursements Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or issues for resolution Continuously evaluate and improve accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor communications Prepare financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable as needed Work closely with other members of the finance team, including accounts receivable, treasury, and financial planning and analysis What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field APS or APM certification preferred 3+ years of experience in accounts payable roles, preferably as a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst or in a similar capacity Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify and implement process enhancements What We Offer Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver) Flexible PTO plan Hybrid model work schedule (50% in office) 401k matching plan HSA employer contributions Student loan assistance Pet insurance AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Hightower is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based upon race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, marital status, national origin, citizenship, veteran status, ancestry, age (over 40), physical or mental disability, medical condition (cancer-related), gender identity or expression, genetic information including sickle cell or hemoglobin C trait, or any other consideration made unlawful by applicable federal, state, or local law.
