Civil Engineer

Geopros , Inc. is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for a client based in Carson City, NV. The ideal candidate will have their PE license for the state of Nevada and a degree in civil engineering. This position will be responsible for project design, permitting, etc. throughout the Norther Nevada and Northern California area. Roles & Responsibilities: Will be responsible for Improvement Plan Set development, municipal water and sewer system design and modeling, drainage and flood control, site grading and erosion control, a s well as bid documents and technical specifications. Work will involve project design, modeling, permitting, and construction administration throughout northern Nevada, northern California, and the Lake Tahoe basin. P roduce accurate reports and detailed plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D . Work independently or as a part of a team, as required. Qualifications, Technical Skills, & Requirements: Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in the State of Nevada (PE license for California would be a plus) Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering Minimum of three years' site design/permitting and technical experience Municipal, commercial, and residential development and design experience Strong written and verbal communication, and computational skills Ability to produce accurate reports, and detailed plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D Ability to adhere to budgets and schedules in a fast-paced consulting environment Strong commitment to teamwork and working closely with staff Salary/Benefits: Salary - $80,000 - $135,000+ depending on experience Paid Professional License Fees / Professional Dues Medical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance Paid Costco Membership Retirement Savings Plan: 401(k) Friendly Atmosphere & Excellent Work-Life Balance
