Momar is looking for a Operations Supervisor! Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the Momar family at our Santa Fe, California, location. Reporting to the Director of West Coast Operations, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Widespread warehouse and ensuring productivity within the team. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage various operational aspects. Duties/Responsibilities: Monitor attendance, unauthorized overtime, absences, tardiness, and time conflicts for the operations team to ensure a productive and punctual workforce. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations to foster individual and team growth. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team and generate reports to track them. Analyze current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accuracy and efficiency, proactively updating them as needed to optimize operations. Post Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and process account credit memos efficiently. Complete daily purchase invoicing tasks and promptly respond to invoicing inquiries via email and telephone. Handle escalated issues with professionalism, striving for swift resolution and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with all departments and divisions involved in order fulfillment and the order-to-cash process to ensure seamless coordination. Undertake additional duties and actively contribute to special projects as assigned by management to support continuous improvement and organizational success. Evaluate the workflow in the warehouse and adjust temporary staffing levels as required. Oversee daily operations in the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. Supervise and train the warehouse and delivery team to maintain high performance standards. Manage inventory and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate freight shipments and monitor ground shipment accounts. Monitor backorders and communicate daily shipment reports to the delivery driver and sales team. Provide essential support to the warehouse team as needed. Process orders and quotes for the sales team, including sourcing special order items. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with associates of all levels in identifying and resolving complex issues. Excellent organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow through. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to use discretion and maintain sensitive and confidential information. Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required. Education and Experience: Basic understanding of supply chain, logistics/transportation, inventory control, purchasing, and accounting principles. Proficiency in using an ERP system to efficiently manage business operations. MRO experience is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or on-the-job training, demonstrating a strong foundation in the required skills and knowledge. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Frequently required to sit, stand, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear. Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM.
