About the role Zillow Rentals strives to be the most trusted rentals marketplace. Our Trust & Safety team is committed to keeping users on our platform safe from fraudulent listings, scams, discrimination, identity and financial fraud. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our Rentals Trust & Safety function to ensure the safety of millions of renters and landlords who transact on our marketplace. As our Zillow Rentals business grows, we are looking for an experienced product leader who can work cross-functionally across Zillow to elevate our Trust & Safety product solutions to effectively combat the increasingly sophisticated fraud targeting our marketplace. You will bring your deep product expertise, plus demonstrated experience in bringing effective, scaled experiences to life. You'll apply a strong strategic product sense and a passion for solving complex, ambiguous problems with a customer-first approach! Key responsibilities include: Define, evangelize and implement the product vision and strategy for our Rentals Trust & Safety function. Develop and maintain a robust product roadmap for Rentals Trust & Safety initiatives, spanning customer experience, underlying machine learning needs, and scalable data integrations and infrastructure. Collaborate extensively with internal teams including engineers, machine learning engineers, moderators, designers, data scientists, researchers and peer product managers to translate requirements into actionable plans and deliverables. Conduct rigorous AB testing and leverage data-driven insights to iterate and improve experiences continually. Stay abreast of product feature roadmaps across Zillow Rentals to consult on impact and opportunities for Trust & Safety. Stay abreast of trends in Trust & Safety to inform and guide the long-term vision and strategy for Trust & Safety at Zillow. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions. In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $173,300.00 - $276,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Who you are You are a product expert who knows how to make everyone around you better, bring clarity to ambiguity and influence without authority. A dedicated advocate for the customer, you know how to inspire others to care deeply about customers too. 8+ years in a Product Management role, with a focus on building consumer-facing technology products. Ecommerce and/or marketplace experience required. Experience with Trust & Safety, Fraud or other related functions. Strong Product Management skills, experienced in independently owning sophisticated products and/or product portfolio. Exceptional ability to influence and drive consensus across leadership, product, engineering, and data science teams. Consistent record of shipping successful products at scale Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment (verbal, written, and visual) who has the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels. Ability to articulate sophisticated ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong project management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize quickly and effectively in a complex collaborator environment. Passion for the real estate industry and a commitment to Zillow Group's mission and values.
