Private Equity Associate

This role will search for and identify investment opportunities that either fit as a tuck-in to an existing portfolio company or as a new platform company. This role is a great fit for someone who is looking for an opportunity to advance a career in the private equity space by working with a leadership team that has built multiple successful companies.The ideal candidate must be located locally to Indianapolis as this is not a remote position.ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing efforts for new acquisition opportunities for Rehab IndustriesBuild and maintain relationships with business owners and C-level executives as well as intermediaries (brokers) and capital providers (PE firms, family offices, endowments) through networking, industry events, and direct outreach. (70%)Develop and maintain a database of prospective companies and a pipeline of potential deals. Create written profiles of promising opportunities for presentation to Partners. (15%)Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify potential investment opportunities. (10%)Assist in the evaluation of acquisition opportunitiesPerform preliminary analysis of potential deals (5%)RequirementsBachelor's degree in business-related field (Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, etc)Minimum 1-4 years of experience in an investment management, business development, or business consulting type roleStrong communication skills (both written and oral)Enjoys relationship development at a professional and personal levelKnowledge of private equity and current M&A trendsAbility to learn quickly and have the ability to grasp financial business terminology and conceptsAttention to detail and organized
