As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the continued financial health of the organization by providing critical analyses and insights that are used for informed decision-making. What youll do on a typical day: Design, prepare, and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs. budgets and identify variance drivers. Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging. Identify, measure, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics. Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution. Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies. Design reports that are concise, well organized, professional in appearance, and easy to modify and distribute. What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, youll need: Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent related work or military experience. 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or FP&A. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills. Itd be great if you also have: 4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools. Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information appropriate for intended audience. Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations. Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
