Job Details Job Location Gillis Campus - KANSAS CITY, MO Position Type Full Time Salary Range $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 Salary/year Description POSITION: Therapist I or II- In home & Virtual $2,500.00 Signing/Retention Bonus DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Services (Kansas City, MO) & Flexible Schedule Starting Salary: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 (Annually) (Starting salary depends on education and experience) The Transitional Youth and Treatment Foster Care programs at Cornerstones of Care are seeking a caring Therapist to connect with teen foster care youth transitioning into independent living or reintegration with family. The therapist will work with the youth in foster care and foster parents on healing trauma and address mental health needs. The therapist meets with the youth at home and/or virtually that meet the client's needs. This position will be managed virtually by the clinical manager in the Eastern Region but resides in the Kansas City Metro Area (Kansas City, MO/KS). This individual is responsible for providing quality, evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy aimed at meeting the integrated behavioral, social, psychological, emotional, and safety needs of children, youth, and families. The therapist's caseload is focused on children and families in Treatment Foster Care (TFC) homes, Transitional Youth Living in a group home or scattered site settings. This position works as part of cross disciplinary treatment team within Cornerstones of Care TFC and Pathways Transitional Living programs. The Therapist I or II In-Home/Virtual is responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments using various tools, reviewing assessment outcomes with clients, developing treatment plans by establishing treatment goals with the client, and determining treatment methodologies. This position completes in-home/telehealth clinical therapy sessions from internal referrals. Mileage Reimbursement/Stipend is available for this position. QUALIFICATIONS: Must live in the Kansas City Metro Area. This position requires a master's degree and a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist (PLPC, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with the State of Missouri with the ability to have a reciprocal license in Kansas. The ideal candidate will be creative, and flexible, have a high level of integrity, work well autonomously, and have excellent time management skills. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
