Fleet Manager/Delivery Supervisor

Fresh Baguette is looking for a talented and passionate Fleet Manager/Delivery Supervisor for its Production Center in Germantown, MD . As a Fleet Manager and Delivery Supervisor at Fresh Baguette, your duty will be working alongside the Dept Manager in taking care of all delivery vehicles and managing a team of drivers. Shift times will vary throughout the year but be close to a 12AM-9AM overnight shift. Holidays and weekends are required, they are the busiest times of week/year. As a Fleet Manager you will be: Living by Fresh Baguette's core values: Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, and Customer Oriented Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments Assist Dept manager in DOT compliance and oversight Monitor fleet compliance with local, state, and federal requirements relating to the operation and all preventive maintenance Takeover and maintain productive relationships with our local mechanics Coordinate and provide input concerning the performance evaluations of assigned employees Registering each vehicle and ensuring that all relevant documents are always up to date Assist Dept manager in insurance relationships, claims, decisions and reports to top management Develops and implements vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance programs Assist the Dept Manager in the development of policies and regulations Respond and/or assist personnel in emergency situations during and after normal work hours when required Manages the daily operation and coordinate maintenance of the organization's motor vehicles Provides input and opinions on strategic decisions that affect the fleet area of responsibility Develops and maintains efficient design structure of delivery routes Ride along trainings and evaluations with delivery staff Be nefits Compensation: Competitive Salary - $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Bonus Pay Paid Time off after 90 days Health and Dental Insurance after 90 days Premium Pay on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Christmas Eve 40% Employee Discount Wellness Reimbursement 401K and 401K Match Flexible Schedule Free Meal Anniversary Gift Card Exciting growth potential Shifts: 12AM - 9AM 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Holidays Weekends Night shift Overnight Shift On call Requirements Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship At least 3 years of experience with the following fleet needs: Respond and/or dispatch service personnel to emergency situations during and after normal work hours when required Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, continuously lifting 10-70lbs, pushing, pulling, manipulating pallets, bakery racks etc. Availability to work on weekends and Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. Strong Communication skills Proven working experience as a Delivery driver DOT medical card Experience with GVW 16,000+ LBS Experience with Lift gate operation Valid driver's license and good driving record with no traffic violations You would be a great fit as a Fleet Manager or a Delivery Supervisor if you: Love learning and challenging yourself Love supporting others in their growth Thrive in a fast-paced environment Love sharing your love for French baked goods Seek growth opportunities Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: Bonus Pay 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid Time Off Paid training Anniversary Gift Card Restaurant type: Bakery Production Center Warehouse Shift: 12AM-9AM 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Holidays Night shift Overnight shift On call Weekends Weekly day range: Every weekend Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
