Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description Responsible for process documentation, standards, quality improvements, and cost reductions. The role requires spending time equally between the office and the manufacturing floor. The Project Engineer will lead process improvements and find ways to make manufacturing more cost-effective, support product development, and assist with development prototypes. Additionally, the role involves developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, estimating production times, staffing requirements, and related costs. Responsibilities Lead process improvements to enhance manufacturing cost-effectiveness. Support product development and assist with development prototypes. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods. Document processes and maintain standards. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs. Any CMM experience is a plus. Essential Skills Proficient in CAD, with preference for Solidworks and AutoCAD. Familiar with PPAP processes and procedures. 3-10 years of related experience. BS Degree highly preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus. Ability to work well in a team environment. Personality and team fit are highly valued. Typical working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility within an hour on each end. The role involves both office work and time spent on the manufacturing floor.
