Description Position Details : • Title: Maintenance & Repair Specialist • Location: Indianapolis, IN • Shift: Mon - Fri 7:00am-4:30pm • Travel: 5%. There will be a required trip to Louisville, KY every 2-3 weeks depending on needs. • Compensation: • Specialist I - $50k-$60k + OT + 7% target bonus • Specialist II - $60k-$65k + OT + 10% target bonus • Benefits: Medical and dental, 401(k) w/6% match, company truck, PTO, paid holidays, and much more! Position Description : • Monitors and controls M&R costs • Monitors and controls equipment levels to include repair estimate approval and repair limit compliance • Perform small/minor repairs on chassis • Updates chassis OOS status and notes as needed in CMS-PC • Ensures inspection/repair standards are adhered to on all equipment repairs • Assists in continuously investigating ways and means to reduce overall M&R costs while ensuring service levels are not compromised • Works with labor to increase productivity • Monitors and controls spare parts inventory levels of owned parts • Reviews work order input in CMS-PC on a daily basis and transmits work orders daily • Resolves work order input discrepancy with Operations Coordinator • Performs monthly safety meetings • Monitors and reviews safety policies and procedures • Monitors and releases any DVER/DVIR inspections that location is notified of • Generates information for third party billing/damage recovery • Handles chassis service calls with over the road drivers • Tracks and orders license plates for chassis • Works with the logistics team to ensure proper inventory levels are kept in locations • Monitors and controls inventory levels of owned tires • Coordinates off-hire and scrap chassis programs • Coordinates repairs on client chassis too include interaction with client representative related to estimate approval and billing in Depot Systems Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in chassis and/or trailer maintenance and repair. • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience • Ability to effectively communicate company policy and procedures. • Ability to identify problems via visual inspections and seek solutions. • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet daily requirements. • Interface credibly with vendors and terminal personnel. • Must pass a background check, drug screening (including CBD), and have a clean driving record
