Company Overview Sentient Digital Inc and RDA's Advanced Technology Innovations business unit specialize in Systems Engineering and Analysis, Digital Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Development, providing research and development and leading-edge technology to our customers. As a U.S. Department of Defense small business, RDA supports the U.S. Navy in its Anti-Submarine Warfare research and development activities. RDA provides critical expertise in research and development topics, data analysis, and flight test support. RDAs key product is LCAP, its Low-Cost Advanced Processor, used onboard the Navys P-8A Poseidon submarine-hunting aircraft. LCAP enables the Navy to quickly and efficiently develop its next generation of sonobuoys and signal processing and better leverage its advantage in undersea environments. Description ATI is building a world-class engineering team and is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers or related Analysts to support our innovative signal processing and artificial intelligence research, product development, and systems integration at our Lexington Park Maryland, Doylestown Pennsylvania, or Warrenton Virginia facilities. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and document digital signal processing techniques, artificial intelligence and algorithm advances, circuit and system design, and/or Operator-Machine Interface applications to focus on ASW systems and performance improvement. Conduct in-depth analysis of acoustic data from U.S. Navy sonobuoys and other sensors. Participate in SBIR Research & Development activities, including new business development and customer technologies. Develop and deliver effective reports and presentations of progress and direction to business and customer audiences.Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel will be required. Required Qualifications Exemplify SDis CREED in work ethic and company culture.A Bachelors (minimum), a Masters (preferred), or a PhD (a plus) is required in one or more of the following: Electrical Engineering; Applied Mathematics or Physics; Underwater Acoustics.1-4 years experience in real-time systems, digital signal processing, artificial intelligence, and/or software design and development including laboratory test and integration preferred.Experience with MATLAB or Python is required.The ability to obtain a US Security Clearance at the TOP SECRET level for which the United States Government requires US Citizenship.Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel will be required.Strong written and oral presentation skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Ability to work independently and in a team. Desired Qualifications A Master's degree is preferred, a PhD is a plus, in one or more of the fields listed above.SBIR Phase I, II, and III R&D experience a plus.Emphasis on ASW SONAR systems design and underwater acoustics data analysis is preferred.Experience with Java, C++, or related in a Microsoft Windows environment is a plus.Experience and knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
