Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our commercial estimating team. As a Commercial Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for electrical projects within the scope of retail projects. You will work closely with project managers, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate and detailed electrical estimates for retail projects Development and submission of electrical proposals, change orders estimates and RFI's Proficient with cost estimation of material, labor, equipment and supplies for retail projects Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and bids Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed Maintain and nurture working relationships with clients and internal departments Maximize new industry trends, regulations, and best practices Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department Requirements Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical bid management experience Electrical field experience as a journeyman or apprentice electrician is desired Proficient reading plumbing and/or HVAC, architectural, civil and structural plans and specifications that are related to electrical installation Able to work independently and as a functioning team member in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Proficient use of MS Office, Planswift, Blue Beam, SureCount, Autodesk, Intellibid and/or EBM is desired Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
