Description & Requirements Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer, Senior (NetApps), to join our team in Laurel , MD. In this role, you will analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, continually updating it as various changes are imposed on the system during the lifecycle from development through deployment and operations and maintenance. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration. Implement comprehensive Service-oriented Architecture. Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification /Accreditation Process Configure and manage Linux & Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree. NetApps experience. IAT II certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start date. Preferred Qualifications: At least 20 years' related experience. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
