Assistant Controller

We have an exciting opportunity with a well-regarded Real Estate Investment firm headquartered in San Francisco, with a presence across the country. They are seeing tremendous growth and a culture who keeps their people at the forefront. They are looking for an Assistant Controller to join their Property Accounting team. This role will be well supported and and have the opportunity to manage a strong team. About the Role: Working alongside the Property Controller, you will assist with or own the following duties that support the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, as well as supporting year end. Month end journal entries Facilitate monthly/annual close Analyze performance of portfolio Internal and Property reporting What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with 5+ years of related experience Real estate or Multi-Site industries CPA highly preferred Working knowledge of partnership/fund accounting concepts
