The Field Mechanic plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL license and demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair and diesel mechanics. Proficiency in hydraulic and electronic systems is essential. Field Mechanics can expect to work in diverse environmental conditions, requiring adaptability and problem-solving skills. Ensure equipment is maintained to meet safety standards. Order necessary parts for repairs. Adhere to safe working practices. Travel occasionally as required. Fulfill other related duties and functions as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in heavy equipment repair and diesel mechanics required. Proficiency in hydraulics and electronics is necessary. Capable of working independently. Willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary. Must possess a valid CDL license.
