The Senior Appraiser at Irontrax handles all aspects of appraisals from start to completion - including but not limited to inspection, research, valuing assets, report creation and report delivery. As part of our team, you will be expected to actively support and collaborate with your colleagues. This includes assisting team members with tasks outside of your immediate role, sharing knowledge and expertise, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.DutiesResponsibilities:Provide full analytical support for on-going and new valuations, which includes due diligence, analysis, and data collection ensuring the accuracy of supplied information.Analyze financial and other information in relation to our clients.Valuations research offering value-added insight into comparable companies and transactions, industry trends and market conditions.Write and prepare insightful valuation reports.Conduct future value projectionsresidual analysis, when requestedCommunicate with our customers regarding business performance, inventory profile, asset conditions, asset depreciation modelling and marketability amongst other key valuation drivers.Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team. You will be the key person responsible for preparation of valuation reports, working alongside our analyst team and investment and remarketing professionals.Conduct solo job inspections andor customer meetings as needed.Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with customers and colleagues.Maintain and expand professional business relationships with existing clients and new customer prospects.Support the team in attending business development meetings and presentations along with maintaining and nurturing client relationships, as an individual and as part of the teamContinuously develop and accumulate industry knowledgeOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated proficient computer skills to include, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams)Experience using Salesforce or other CRM preferred Experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparable, discounted cash flow, etc.) and for different purposes (e.g. lending, insolvency, acquisition accounting PPA) within a business valuation firm or practice or in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, financial research, national valuation firm or experience in a corporate finance role for an organization, preferably for lending, insolvency, and M&A activitiesExperience in excel-based financial analysisSuperior project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple client engagementsExcellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsThrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and manage multiple and shifting prioritiesAbility to form effective working relationships within the business at all levels and with clientsAbility to operate independently as well as part of a teamEffective manager of conflicting priorities for both self and othersCan work in a variety of locations across the USA when requiredEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related work experience 7+ Years valuation experience. requiredASA designation, required Banking, lending, leasing, auction experience, preferred but not necessary Travel Required: Extensive travel including the possibility of last minute and weekend travel Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
