Staff Engineer

JDS Consulting is a Raleigh based engineering firm and is seeking individuals to work in our Engineering Services Department on a variety of projects. Our preferred candidates will have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Geotechnical. North Carolina License or on path for license. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills both written and oral along with an exciting team building environment. Ability to communicate with clients, drafters, and engineers effectively. Provide feedback and mentorship to drafters and engineering interns. Must have passed P.E. exam and submitted for PE status with the NC Board of Engineering. Experience: 3-4 years of construction experience.
