Director of Operations POSITION SUMMARY: Director of VHS Operations leads and oversees functions and activities in a multitude of areas of responsibility throughout the Valley Health System. This individual will ensure the efficient, safe, operations of assigned areas through the development of policy, facilities, equipment, and programs. To achieve the institutionis objectives (planning; development; team orientation; physician relationships; change management, etc.), this individual will collaborate with system leadership, create strong relationships, provide clear direction and administration of operations in areas of responsibility. Responsible for overseeing the execution of financial, strategic and tactical programs, plans and services.. EDUCATION: Masteris degree (MBA, MHA or equivalent) or Minimum 5 years healthcare experience with a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years healthcare experience with a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience. SPECIAL SKILLS: Demonstrated success in operational activities within a health care organization.
