Bring your impact to the table, and together we will continue to work towards being the most trusted company in pet care.As a Senior Quality Technician on the Proximate Team at the Nestl Purina Analytical Laboratories (NPAL), you will perform and document routine tasks related to sample processing and assays using written operating procedures, standard laboratory methods, and/or basic laboratory techniques, functions, and equipment.Conduct routine procedures for protein, fiber, ash, fat, pH, and moisture testingPrepare all reagents and standards as needed while keeping required documentation in a GLP & ISO laboratoryPerform basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures as outlined in operating procedures and instrument control plansCoordinate and plan assigned work with other technicians and scientists with one team mentalityPrepare and distribute customer-submitted materials for analysis, ensuring accuracy, and qualityAssist, train, and mentor lower-level employees within the job areaRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of professional work experience including at least 1+ years of laboratory related experienceOtherBachelor s degree in chemistry, or a related field is preferred1+ years of experience with operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation including balances, pH meters, dishwashers, autoclaves, and/or ovens is preferredMust be willing to work Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00AM to 5:00PMThe approximate pay range for this position is $53,000.00 to $74,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
