Quality Assurance Manager

Our Power generation client is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager in the Chicago area. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services provided by their vendors for HVAC systems, generators, electrical systems, fire suppression, and telemetry/monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in these areas, exceptional attention to detail, and solid expertise in service evaluation, auditing, and vendor management. Responsibilities include: - Develop and implement quality control systems for services, with a focus on HVAC systems, generators, electrical systems, fire suppression, and telemetry/monitoring systems -Conduct regular evaluations of vendor services to ensure they meet industry standards and align with company expectations -Review and inspect services provided, ensuring they meet the required standards and are delivered on time with high quality -Keep documentation and perform analysis of service quality -Conduct regular audits, track and resolve service quality issues, and assist with demand-related calls as needed -Implement quality control training programs for internal teams and participate in vendor selection by evaluating vendors" compliance with quality standards. -Oversee risk management activities to ensure quality and compliance in service provision. Job Requirements Requirements: -Bachelors degree in business, engineering, quality preferred -Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in a HVAC or facilities systems industry -Microsoft Office experience -Current Generac Power Systems certification, HVAC, electrical, or similar certifications -Valid drivers license -Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools -Strong decision making, communication, and critical thinking skills
