Senior Data Engineer - Technology Solutions

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about utilizing data with emerging technologies. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work collaboratively to design, develop, and implement technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems, utilizing programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, and open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. You will also have the chance to collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences. Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions Work with a team of experienced developers in machine learning and full stack systems Utilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, and open-source databases Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions Perform unit tests and code reviews Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Minimum 3 years of application development experience (Internship experience does not apply) At least 1 year of experience in big data technologies Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of application development experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or Java 2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) 3+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools 2+ year experience working on Real Time data and streaming applications 2+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation 2+ years of data warehousing experience 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and Shell Scripting 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
