Delivers and transfers merchandise to job sites, or other locations as directed by their supervisor. Responsible for accurately checking all products as loaded and/or unloaded by the driver against the paperwork associated with the delivery. Reports any delays to supervisor through the course of the day. Responsible for checking in with supervisor before and after each departure or arrival at the location, and after each delivery drop or pickup while on the road. Responsible for following all procedures associated with deliveries Responsible for securing all products in vehicle properly to prevent shifting or damage to product prior to departure and throughout deliveries as needed. Responsible for general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the warehouse relating to incoming or outgoing product. Assists shipping, receiving, transfers, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to packing slips. Move materials and items from receiving or transfer areas to shipping areas or stock locations as designated. REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license in good standing Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 100 pounds Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory Highly organized and able to store items efficiently Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state Driver candidate will be subject to a preemployment full background check (Includes a Dept. of Motor Vehicle Report) and drug screening Note This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
