Position Highlights Department: Diagnostic Imaging Hours: Per Diem Position Summary: The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of breast imaging procedures. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a safe environment for patients, co workers, and Medical staff at all times Practice safety absolute when identifying patients throughout all breast imaging and procedures Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions Provide high caliber breast imaging at all times by following established protocols and procedures; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results; retaking images as required; Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient care Exercises independent, professional judgment in the performance of breast imaging Minimum Qualifications: Radiologic Technologist ARRT board certified Mammography ARRT board certified Must meet all ACRFDA Personnel Qualifications Familiar with EPIC, Philips PACS, Hologic Mammography Equipment Good communications skills Compassionate patient care skills Reliable, punctual and well-organized Benefits of Working at Middlesex Health When you choose Middlesex Health, you have chosen a health care system that strives for excellence in patient care as well as employee satisfaction.
