Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to manage and grow our customer base in the Midwest territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with clients, driving sales, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the hospitality market, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: Effectively cover assigned territory through a strategically focused Call Cycle (Days) to ensure existing customers continue to purchase products at budgeted levels while also prioritizing and planning new business development. Work with VP of Regional Sales to manage and develop strong business relationships with Customers/Accounts. Track inventory management within territory using CRM and partnering with supply chain including the monthly S&OP review to include product demand forecasting, shipping lead-times and returns. Aggressively prospect and acquire New Customers/Accounts by researching and qualifying business opportunities and initiating outbound calls to identified buyers and management and probing prospects to determine needs. Effectively use the CRM to strategically manage your territory and customer base as well as identifying leads and opportunities to prioritize your focus on new business. Work with existing customers to organically grow business through cross-category selling, upselling, increasing order activity and average order size. Employ Consultative Selling to problem solve with our customers, develop solutions and services while adding value to our partnership. Proactively implement business plans to acquire more share of the business. Communicate order status and fulfilment, executing pricing, cash management (invoicing, credits, etc.) and inventory allocation. Continually learn about our extensive product portfolio and services through company provided training and intellectual curiosity. Lead the communication and education of our customers, prospects and other stakeholders. Represent our company at Trade Shows and other events. Accountable for planning and managing Expense Budgets. Including T&E, promotional expenses, discounts, rebates, incentives and Trade Shows. Achieve Fiscal Sales Plans Requirements: Highly motivated and professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytic and business analysis skills. Comfortable using data to drive decision making. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Skilled at Consultative Selling with outstanding sales and negotiation abilities. Highly confident, competitive and goal oriented. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time managements skills. Travel 60%+ in territory as well as out of territory to attend meetings and trade shows. Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree. A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in a B2B customer focus sales environment. Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics is preferred) ?
