The opportunity Join Our Team as the Director, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Site Head in West Chester, PA! Are you ready to lead and shape a culture of safety and sustainability at the forefront of scientific innovation? At our West Chester R&D Site, we are seeking an experienced and passionate EHS Site Lead to champion Environmental Health and Safety excellence within our R&D Operations. This high-impact role reports directly to the R&D Operations Vice President and offers the opportunity to make a difference within a dynamic, global organization. How you'll spend your day Lead EHS regulatory compliance at the site, including internal and external audits Identify EHS risks, define mitigations, and design corrective actions Ensure site investments and operational changes comply with EHS and GMP regulations Design and implement the annual EHS plan in collaboration with site leadership Monitor, analyze, and share EHS information to support Teva's EHS objectives Promote a proactive and safe EHS culture, encouraging open communication and innovation Provide EHS training, guidance, and coaching to site managers and employees Lead continuous improvement in EHS using Operational Excellence principles Manage and develop the site EHS team, ensuring high performance and alignment with Teva's values Serve as an influential member of the site leadership team, promoting cross-site initiatives Participate in the global EHS network, sharing best practices and lessons learned Build proactive relationships with regulatory agencies, the local community, and external suppliers Your experience and qualifications BS/MS in safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environmental engineering, or related field Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) Minimum of 10 years' experience with site EHS programs in a regulated environment Experience with management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) Technical knowledge in EHS aspects like waste, water, air emissions, and more Knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and GMP requirements Understanding of OPEX principles and tools Enjoy a more rewarding choice We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Comprehensive Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage starting on the first day of employment, providing the employee enrolls.
