On-Call Registered Nurse (RN)

Commmunity LIFE is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to older adults (55+) living in the community. We are adding an On-Call RN position to our team. Schedule: On-Call from 4pm to 8am Monday-Friday and 24 hours a day on weekends. EVERY OTHER WEEK ONLY. This position will be considered full time and will be paid a full time salary for working every other week. This position requires the ability to arrive at our participants homes within 45 minutes of receiving a call. Salary: $65,000-$75,000 / year Locations : Tarentum & Lower Burrell and surrounding communities Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, advise, teach, and coordinate care for older adult participants Evaluate participants for episodic illness after business hours in collaboration with the Provider Document care provided and changes in participant's condition in a timely manner Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments Demonstrate nursing care to participants and caregivers/families Required Skills and Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited nursing school Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, preferably in long term care, home care, or community health Experience in teaching patients and other healthcare workers is preferred Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Pennsylvania Possess a valid PA Drivers License Benefits: Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Life Insurance Long Term Disability Insurance Automatic Contribution to a 403(b) retirement plan Tuition Reimbursement Mileage Reimbursement at the federal rate Uniform Allowance Compensation details: Yearly Salary PIa16d7c1c01bd-
