Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Specialty: CT Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, Fluoroscopy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable, 30-40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Radiologic Technologist license Certifications: - Registered Fluoroscopy permit - American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification Must-Have: Experience in CT, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy Job Description: - Perform a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnosis. - Execute all routine Radiographic procedures, CT Exams, and fluoroscopic procedures, including pediatric, adult, trauma, routine, portables, STAT, and surgery exams. - Assist Radiologists with diagnostic CT procedures and organize information for physician dictation. - Oversee quality assurance for all department equipment, tracking mechanical failures, issuing service requests, and ensuring equipment is operational. - Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained. - Aid Radiologists or medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while operating equipment safely. - Verify the existence and accuracy of exam requests and consents.
