Job Title: Mammography Technologist/Technician Job Specialty: Mammography Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H 07:00-15:30 Day, Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical Mammography experience required; Associate's degree preferred. License: Must be licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Certifications: - Registered with the ARRT. - Certification in Mammography with the ARRT. - BLS Certification. Must-Have: - Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography Education, as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards. Job Description: - Perform breast imaging procedures. - Conduct ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures. - Assist in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists. - Instruct colleagues in complex or difficult procedures. - Experienced breast sonographers with considerable expertise are also acceptable for this role.
