Job Number: R Electrical Engineer, Mid Key Role: Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Employ knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with electrical cabling designs and concepts 3+ years of experience developing drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and Technical Data Packages 3+ years of experience with fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of electronic components and systems 3+ years of experience with the design, development, implementation, and testing of electrical components, equipment, and circuitry in the development of RDT&E systems, subsystems, and component-level technologies 3+ years of experience retrieving technical data from military platform maintenance or user guide systems, or Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) Experience with cross-discipline problem solving, including computer engineering, computer science, pulse power engineering, RF engineering, or mechanical engineering Knowledge of electronic industry standards and best practices, military standards, and test validation methods, including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, NEC, and UL Safety standards Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Additional Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with engineering of military harnesses and generating artifacts, such as drawings, wire tables, and circuit diagrams, to support the fabrication and installation of such harnesses 5+ years of experience drafting in AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical Experience with Directed Energy weapons and technologies Experience in the integration of HPM or pulsed power systems into land, air, or shipboard applications Experience creating inputs, such as diagrams, weights, weight or balance, procedures, or parts lists, for military platform ECP and TD documentation Experience designing aircraft harnesses for fixed wing narrow body aircraft or larger platforms Ability to provide modification recommendations and troubleshooting for RF, EMI, and high voltage technical issues Ability to interpret and identify parts, tools, and suitable substitutes for MIL circular connector and wire standards Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
