Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Job Specialty: Electrophysiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: See specific agreement Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Electrophysiology Lab, or Special Procedures area preferred. Intensive Care or relevant health care field-related experience considered. License: Valid State License - Required Certifications: - BLS required - ACLS within 90 days of employment - ARRT considered - Registered Cardiovascular Technologist preferred - RCES certification required within 3 years of hire or placement Must-Have: - Scrub experience - Experience with scrub, monitor, circulate, EKG skills, ablations, pacemaker/defib device placements, rhythm interpretation, and Watchman procedure skills - EP Procedure Experience: Arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, and pacemaker insertion skills Job Description: - Perform technical support duties related to electrophysiology procedures. - Handle daily caseload of 4-10 procedures. - Collaborate efficiently within a team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Participate in orientation and training as required. - Utilize documentation systems such as Epic and Claris. - Operate Carto, St. Jude, and Spectranetics laser equipment effectively. - Maintain required certifications and complete necessary modules for compliance. - Work in a Level II Trauma Center with advanced care facilities. - Adhere to all facility regulations, including vaccination requirements. - Remain committed to professional growth and development within the role. Additional Requirements: - Weekend and on-call work are not required. - No floating within the facility or to affiliated hospitals. - Open to first-time applicants who meet the experience requirement. - Willing to accommodate block schedules at manager's discretion. - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. - No travel pairs on the same unit; separate units may be considered.
