The Informatics Analyst II is responsible for supporting the execution and analysis of data and outcomes in support of cutting-edge physician and hospital reimbursement methodologies and programs, population health management initiatives, value-based incentive programs, and quality of care measurement & improvement. Also responsible for providing, data, reports, dashboards, and analyses needed to achieve departmental and organizational goals. The Informatics analyst utilizes multiple analytic tools to support analytic objectives, and supports their ongoing maintenance and effective use. Qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years experience performing duties that include: business needs assessment, data mining, report/dashboard development, design and analysis required. Bachelor's degree required. 4 years relevant experience may be substituted for degree. Demonstrated knowledge and ability of analytics, including but not limited to statistical and/or financial analysis required. Healthcare or managed care industry preferred. Demonstrated analytic skill strength and ability to think strategically required. Experience with NetworX Modeler required. Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects required. Strong written and verbal communication, organization and planning skills required. Demonstrated ability in the validation and corroboration of all data analyses and deliverables required. Ability to effectively interpret and communicate analytic data/results to internal and external customers (including physicians) required. Experience and familiarity with SAS, SQL, Python, R, or other coding language preferred. Knowledge of healthcare claims data elements, state, federal and regulatory requirements and/or provider payment methodologies preferred. Knowledge of Actuarial methods and estimation techniques preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Access and Excel required. CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance.
