Job Title : Intern, Materials & Process Engineering Reporting To: Engineer II, Matl. & Process Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY Our Materials and Process Engineering team is seeking a summer 2025 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY. To be considered for the Materials and Process Engineering intern role, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Enrolled in aMaterial Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university. GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship. Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. As a Materials and Process Engineering intern, you will: Provide technical support to engineers, as needed. Work experience may include failure analysis; material properties testing; microstructure characterization; material selection; heat treatments; contamination/FOD identification and control; material defect evaluation based on the student's educational discipline. Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution. Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals. Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
