Interventional Cardiology (5200) is an acute intermediate care telemetry floor that specializes in the care of patients post PCI, TAVRs, pacemakers, AICDS, temporary pacers, post MI as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions requiring cardiac drips. 5200 is the second designated LVAD floor within Sands-Constellation Heart Institute and cares for LVAD patients 60+ days post implant. 5200 offers RNs an excellent opportunity to develop a strong cardiac base knowledge that can be used anywhere in nursing. Solicit and respond to patient feedback to improve service and processes that will enhance the patient experience Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and givereceive relevant reports, both written and verbal Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete patient care documentation using computerized medical record process EDUCATION:AS: Nursing (Required)LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, andor 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, andor greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
