Senior Account Executive, Ogilvy Health Public Relations About the Role Senior Account Executives possess project management and media outreach skills and the ability to build solid client relationships. They play a primary, independent implementation role in client work. They are a trusted partner to clients and able to work collaboratively across the Ogilvy network. This role is in the Public Health space and requires experience and interest in Public Health. What You'll Do Maintain day-to-day client contact with the client; ensure timely delivery of projects; oversee daily monitoring including editing reports, develop programming with senior account team; supervise more junior staff to ensure balanced workload and that they have the information necessary to complete tasks on deadline Manage implementation of PR plan including press conferences, media briefings, analyst meetings, media tours, third party advocacy programs Pitch trade and consumer reporters, develop relationships with reporters, develop media pitches, contribute to the design of execution of media relations campaigns Draft PR materials, including press releases, backgrounders, pitch letters and other documents, edit writing of junior staff, oversee referencing and assist as needed Oversee preparation of monthly team activity reports, develop and maintain financial trackers for projects, develop budgets for programs with minimal supervision and ensure vendors are paid on a timely manner Assist with new business development including taking an active role as part of the development/pitch team, attend brainstorms, gather and organize information and assist with program development Conduct research including searches, third-party audits, media audits, indemnification of KOLs, evaluate and analyze information and data including development of succinct accurate summaries and analyses of research What You'll Need 2-3 years of relevant healthcare communications experience Experience with direct client contact and running events Program development experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills Effective collaboration skills Ability to garner media placements/interviews supporting client objectives Ability to develop first drafts of documents and presentations with minimal edits Demonstrable passion for all aspects of the agency's business Emerging commercial abilities and business and financial acumen Strong skills in research, critical thinking and analysis Ability to operate with a high degree of independence knowing when to seek advice of supervisor and team members Willingness to take on new challenges How We'll Support You Ogilvy celebrates its people. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
