Our brand is our people. We are currently seeking a Global Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) to support the development of our evolving global people operating model and talent strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this individual will be a key leader on the Global People Leadership Team, responsible for the overall talent strategy to drive the company's growth and success. This role is instrumental in building best-in-class capabilities, developing a high-performing TA team, scaling TA globally, and creating an unforgettable experience for our candidates as we build the next generation of Slalom. Collaborator: A collaborator who can establish credibility and trust across the organization to ensure the talent strategy aligns with the overall business strategy and can successfully influence a cohesive and collaborative recruitment culture. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development and Execution: Develop an end-to-end recruitment strategy to attract top talent and ensure Slalom is well-placed as an employer of choice with key talent sources and external partnerships, including diversity and professional organizations. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's strategy to grow the top line to $5B with diverse delivery models such as Slalom's Allshore strategy. Leverage extensive experience in building and managing a multi-shore workforce to enhance global talent acquisition efforts. Define and engage with partners to develop a contingent workforce strategy and temporary talent pools for recruiting talent. Define the future vision, organization, and operating model for recruiting to allow us to scale with efficiency and quality. Proven experience in implementing cutting-edge recruiting strategies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI technologies for talent acquisition, including advanced sourcing techniques and enhanced candidate engagement, to stay ahead in the competitive talent market. TA Operationalization and Execution: Partner with our integrated workforce planning and business team for yearly, quarterly, and strategic forecasting for talent needs across Early Career, Consulting, Senior Leaders, and SG&A hires. Be accountable for talent acquisition metrics and goals, including the quality of applicant pools and hires, diversity, number of hires, cost per hire, hiring manager and candidate experience; analyze success against metrics and create and execute plans to achieve ongoing improvement in results. Lead the execution of best-in-class practices for end-to-end candidate experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, communication, selection, and transition to onboarding. Deliver operational excellence by proactively managing team capacity and delivering upon operational mechanisms to maintain a healthy and accurate talent pipeline. Identify, innovate, and execute programs and initiatives to elevate the TA experience for our candidates and market. TA Leader Development: Develop a high-performing team by committing to talent routines (e.g., regular 1:1s, team meetings, quarterly and ongoing development conversations) and supporting the team with professional development, mentorship, and coaching opportunities. Develop a strong balance of business alignment and understanding while maintaining strong functional and global expertise. Define the strategy and direct the training and onboarding of recruitment staff, providing ongoing talent acquisition training across the region. Job Qualifications: 15+ years of experience, with a track record of working strategically and operationally with cross-functional organizational leaders to build consensus around talent acquisition strategy and initiatives. Extensive experience in the professional services or consulting industry is essential, coupled with a profound understanding of the specific talent needs and the dynamic, fast-paced environment of recruitment in these sectors Ability to identify and solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to a dynamic market. Superb verbal and written communication skills. Strategic and conceptual thinking, balanced with collaborative integration, business relationships, a passion for data/storytelling, and strong talent acquisition acumen are critical success factors for this role. Ability to travel up to 15% - 20% of the time, depending on business demands. Ability to establish a vision, actively build the team aligned to the vision, and simultaneously drive measurable results. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary range is $275,000 to $350,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
