Job Responsibilities With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina. This position is located at: Greater Greenville Mental Health Center 124 Mallard Street Greenville, SC 29601 Under general supervision, performs a variety of secretarial or administrative duties involved in the administrative operations of GGMHC. Requires the ability to plan, organize, develop and implement procedures to maintain daily schedules. Job Functions, including but not limited to: (1) Responsible for all duties related to front office areas to include scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, signing patients in and out, and other front desk coverage. Promptly responds to patient and staff correspondence. (2) Performs cashier duties and collection of fees paid. (3) Obtains and updates patient files regarding demographic, financial, and guarantor information. (4) Enters Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance Information for billing purposes. (5) Responsible for scheduling and rescheduling appointments for PRISMA resident psychiatrists. (6) Provides coverage for administrative areas to include all front office areas, switchboard, and admissions as needed. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications A high school diploma and one year of clerical experience, or an associate degree in secretarial science or a related field; or 2 years of clerical experience.
