Overview We are Hiring for UofL Hospital's Critical Care department. Location: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville, KY 40202 Shift Options: Rotating, 36 hours/week Unit Details This position will support numerous Critical Care units at UofL Hospital.  Position Details The RN Shift Coordinator will provide support and will work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager and the Director. The Shift Coordinator will hold staff accountable on his/her shift and provide feedback to Clinical Manager. The Shift Coordinator is an extension of the Clinical Manager and is empowered to address issues and concerns on his/her respective shift.   About Us UofL Hospital, a 404-bed academic teaching and research hospital, is at the heart of the Louisville Metro area in downtown Louisville. Improve patient experience by rounding on patients and providing service recovery on her/his shift. Ensure compliance with metrics. Acts as a resource for staff. Participates in the staff interview process and retention of staff. Provides feedback for and assists with the writing and delivering of performance reviews. Provides coaching and counseling as appropriate. On-call for scheduled weekends to work. Actively participates on unit committees and other unit meetings Qualifications Required Qualifications Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university Previous Charge Nurse or Leadership experience Minimum 3 years RN experience Preferred Qualifications National nursing certification in field of specialty or nursing administration or to be completed within 1 year of hire date Benefits & Perks Competitive Pay & Benefits Options Paid Vacation, Sick days, and Holidays Free tuition to UofL for Part- and Full-time employees for Child/Spouse/Domestic Partner 401K with Employer Match #LI-SB1
