Mechanical Engineer King of Prussia, PA Contract Position $130.00-$135.00/Hour Contribute to the frontier of space exploration and technology, working on satellite systems, space exploration missions, and advanced spaceborne instruments. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a team that expands our understanding and presence in space. Responsibilities: Summary: Lead the mechanical design, stress and thermal analysis, and electronics packaging for space exploration systems, including CAD development and release. Oversee the full product life cycle of electronics design, with a focus on circuit card/printed circuit board design considerations. Participate in Design Reviews and provide technical feedback on mechanical and electronics packaging. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree with 11+ years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 9+ years of experience. Experience: Proficiency in mechanical design, electronics packaging, and hardware integration for custom and procured electronic assemblies. Strong knowledge of CREO and CAD/CAM/CAE tools. Expertise in Electro-Mechanical Designs and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with Ansys for stress and thermal analysis. Preferred Experience: Background in radio frequency (RF), electronic steerable arrays (ESAs), and/or antenna elements. Your Recruiter Still have questions?
