Role:By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE mission, ONE team, the Member Services Representative completes financial transactions professionally and efficiently, listens to and addresses member inquiries, and ensures accuracy in member records. This role involves guiding members through the credit union's products and services, identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being, and maintaining compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.Major Duties and Responsibilities:While meeting the service standards for the Credit Union, receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and travelers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions according to credit union policies and guidelines.Cross-sell credit union services to members.Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including ATM duties, completing logs and reports, typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.Perform other duties as assigned.Expectations:1. To deliver high quality member service 2. To provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers and achieve high ratings for Service Excellence.3. To cross-sell the established number of new products per month focused on meeting the member's financial needs.4. To function within the pre-set balancing standards policy.5. To follow the credit union's Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures, including running OFAC searches, completing investigative reports of suspicious activity and currency transaction reports timely and without error.6. To maintain a professional work environment, promote teamwork, build respect among coworkers and present a businesslike appearance.7. To follow all security policies and procedures and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to manager and Skills:Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.Education: A high school education of terpersonal Skills: Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring normal courtesy in providing assistance or Skills: Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
