Responsibilities include: Preparing conceptual budget estimates for projects from schematic design through construction document phases. Evaluating and compiling all budgets and bids including conceptual estimating, hard-bids, and negotiated bids. Source and build relationships with clients and subcontractors Communicate and present proposals to customers, architects, engineers, etc. Provide take-off reviews and estimates from construction drawings Solicit and review bids from the subcontractor market Assist with subcontractor selection, buyout meetings and subcontracts when needed. Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects at one time. Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets Interested in hearing more?
