Job Description ASFC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.We are seeking a Business Integration Specialist to provide full-Timeon-site support for our contract team within the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD and the Goddard Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) in Wallops Island, VA. Job Summary: Provide business integration support to unify operational practices between Goddard in Greenbelt and Wallops. This will involve multiple programs and projects within all supported contract locations. Direct supervisory experience with geographically disperse work teams is required. Responsibilities: Personnel Management: Design models for efficient work practices between facilities within NASA Goddard. Provide direct support in conjunction with these models and operations with the Wallops Center Director and Deputy Director. Work closely with PAAC contract management, including IPTLs and Functional Leads in gathering artifacts to build requirement and support future operational plans. Build highly effective and collaborative teams in support of multiple contract tasks. Work with the recruiting team to hire employees that meet job requirements. Support the onboarding of new hires and visitors. Support team members to ensure that all task level SOW deliverables are completed successfully and to the highest level of satisfaction. Support staff in reaching contract and personal growth goals. Monitor team dynamics and workload; adjust assignments as needed. Resolve issues as they arise to the satisfaction of customers and team members. Provide recommendations for merit increases and promotions. Perform annual employee evaluations with quarterly touch points. Stay informed and share knowledge of the contract's core functional support areas with customers and team members. Task Management: Prepare conceptual models to solve internal collaboration inefficiencies. Capture risk elements and present them to contract management for review and scoring. Collaborate with key government customers to properly communicate purpose. Interview customers and capture data in PAAC SharePoint system. Monitor planned versus actuals per task and explain variances. Prepare monthly charts to report risks and opportunities. Review Non-Disclosure Agreements and coordinate with contracts and legal departments for approval. Ensure all staff are compliant with company, agency, and job specific training requirements. Ensure all staff follow contract and company specific guidelines and policies. Make routine updates to organizational chartsfor all comings and goings of employees and customers. Monitor task performance to ensure exceptional customer support. Assist the contract in developing and reviewing communications. Support corporate and contract initiatives and events by encouraging staff to participate. Share recommendations for improving employee engagements, awards, and recognitions. Recognize and appropriately protect various controlled information types. Requirements Extensive experience in a direct supervisory role with cross-matrixed teams. Experience building a culture of teamwork and respect, aligning to corporate values and principles. Strong working knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, specifically the NASA FAR supplement. Knowledge of the NASA systems such as Concur, NASA Equipment,and SATERN. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI and Teams. Assist in the development of employee stretch goals. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work respectfully with all levels. Must have the ability to balance priorities across multiple customers. The individual must possess a strong sense of ethics, discretion, and professionalism. Ability to communicate project status and issues to customers and leadership as they arise. May be responsible for taking direction from contract leadership and distributing information to team members, stakeholders, and leadership quickly and efficiently. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree and 15 or more years of direct supervisory experience or 19 or more years of related experience in lieu of degree.
