Lebanon School District has an immediate need for a Long Term Substitute Personal Care Assistant at Jefferson Elementary School through the remainder of the school year. This is an on-site, temporary position working in a learning support assignment, Monday through Friday, and may be filled with a single hire working 7 hours per day (plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch), or by two hires working 3.5 hours per day either morning or afternoon. Personal Care Assistants provide support in the academic, social/emotional, and behavioral development of students in accordance with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) by: Engaging with students and staff Performing instructional support tasks like supervision, tutoring, and coaching Performing behavioral support tasks like communicating positive expectations, prompting/signaling, and redirecting Performing clerical support tasks like organizing materials and recording progress and observations See attached job description for more details. This assignment will be paid at a daily substitute rate of $110. There are no benefits or paid time off associated with this substitute placement.
