Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Center Registered Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (40 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience License: Active IL RN license Certifications: Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of OR RN experience- Active IL RN license- Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS Job Description: - Join a Level 2 trauma center with 255 licensed beds and Magnet Work in a Primary Stroke Center with 12 beds in the operating room.- Patient demographic ranges from neonate to Handle various cases including general, neuro, trauma, ortho, gyne, and more.- Receive support from 2-3 CNAs in the PACU, a free-floating Charge nurse, 24/7 Hospitalist and RT, and a receptionist from Monday to Friday.- Utilize bedside telemetry monitoring (without tele tech support).- Expect to receive one shift of orientation on the unit to understand the workflow.- Facility will provide scrubs.- Highly prefer candidates with NIH Certification, though it is not required.
