Key Responsibilities: Assist in patient preparation and rooming, taking vitals, and gathering medical histories. Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests as directed by physicians. Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication management. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in our EMR system. Support the cardiology team with various clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient flow. Qualifications: Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Previous experience in cardiology or a similar specialty is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.55 an hour The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Job Requirements Education: Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; or equivalent experience. Experience: One to two years in outpatient care setting License/Certification Required: Health Care Provider CPR Certification required. Medical Assistant certification or degree preferred. Skills: computer, problem solving skills, effective intercommunication skills, must be able to work with demanding personalities.
