Position Title: Maintenance Technician Position Location: Fitchburg, MA Position Type: On-Site Position Schedule M-F: 9AM-5PM Employment Status: Full-time Department: Maintenance Position Summary: Facilities Maintenance Technician support facility operations and general maintenance by not only completing daily tasks but partnering cross-functionally with various departments to ensure efficiency of building operations. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Daily building rounds, recording of various building systems information to be reviewed with Facilities Engineers for any operating discrepancies. Equipment and material movements throughout the site. Assist with grow-room set ups including but not limited to testing/ troubleshooting supporting HVAC, irrigation, lighting, and CO2. Support general facilities maintenance including identifying preventive repairs, developing options for action, preparing work orders, cost implication, sustainability awareness, and energy savings. Provide back-up assistance for the Shipping & Receiving department as needed, including appropriate distribution of material and arranging transport. Hours and Coverage - Contributing to around-the-clock on-call coverage for all aspects of the Facility Group's responsibilities. Addressing emergency situations in a timely manner, assessing the situation and impact, diagnosing issue(s), determining proper corrective action, securing replacement parts/materials, coordinating work, utilizing outside vendors as needed, and performing repairs while communicating the situation to site leadership for the duration of the emergency. General Facility Work - Performing any other facility related tasks as deemed necessary by the department manager. Required Qualifications: Knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and designs, building management systems, HVAC, building codes, fire/life safety detection and suppression systems. Knowledge of environmental management best practices and procedures applicable to facility management, renovations, and construction projects. Proficiency in MS Office and tracking software Must be at least 21 years or age or older. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time Reliability & attendance are essential job functions of every position. Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary Clinics set regulations. Environmental Factors: Employees may be required to bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, complete repetitive hand movements, and/or walk intermittently throughout the day. Employees may also be exposed to company approved chemicals for sanitation and production purposes. Employees in this role will be exposed to water, moisture, and/or damp working conditions regularly or for prolonged periods of time. Team members will also be exposed to cannabis and cannabis products while onsite.
