Job Description An employer is looking for a HYBRID Secret Linux Systems Administrator in the D.C. area. This person will maintain clients Information Systems in a distributed environment. They will be responsible for problem prevention/detection and resolution to root cause. Provide software patches and release, version upgrades of operating systems, and software to maintain supportability. Apply extensive IT knowledge and translate business processes and requirements to strategic IT implementation plans. Conduct gap analysis and identify areas of improvement with IT services. Manage 24x7 operations, problem escalation and resolution, and vendor management. Provide Tier 3 Operations support and troubleshooting. Modify COTS/GOTS applications to fit customer requirements. Provide expertise in planning, organizing and project and portfolio management.
