Production Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE The Production Specialist is a critical member of the Production team that supports day to day production and drive improvements within the department. This position will report to the 1st Shift Supervisor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support Production team in establishing a safe work environment and safe work practices Support Production team in maintaining quality requirements and adherence to cGMP standards Issue process deployments for batching and packaging, including necessary forms and labeling Review batch records upon completion for compliance Manage production supplies inventory and reorder as needed (e.g. PPE, stretch wrap, tape, etc.) Lead 5S program for Production Analyze OEE performance on a daily basis and assist with investigations Backup to the supervisors (need to have some flexibility to cover/support 2nd Shift) Provide backup to Material Analyst position mainly focused on keying process orders REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING 3 years experience in manufacturing environment High School Diploma Required PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS Knowledge of liquid filling manufacturing and packaging equipment. Self motivated, self directed with a continuous improvement mindset Strong focus on teamwork and teambuilding Leadership skills Organization skills to manage daily task and improvement activities Verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively Problem solving skills to be support improvements in Production Organizational skills to ensure efficient staffing and operation of manufacturing facility. Experience with SAP Experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus.
